IN-SPACe Issues New Guidelines for Indian and Foreign Hosted-Payloads

The Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre (IN-SPACe) has released new guidelines for hosted-payloads, which are instruments hosted on satellites. Any hosted-payload owned by an Indian entity, whether on an Indian or foreign satellite, now requires IN-SPACe authorization. This move aims to support private Indian entities, referred to as Non-Government Indian Entities (NGEs), in accessing space infrastructure. The guidelines ensure compliance with technical, safety, and regulatory requirements.

इंडियन नेशनल स्पेस प्रमोशन एंड ऑथराइजेशन सेंटर (इन-स्पेस) ने होस्टेड पेलोड के लिए नए दिशानिर्देश जारी किए हैं, जो उपग्रहों पर लगे उपकरण होते हैं। अब किसी भी भारतीय संस्था के स्वामित्व वाले होस्टेड पेलोड, चाहे वह भारतीय या विदेशी उपग्रह पर हो, के लिए इन-स्पेस प्राधिकरण की आवश्यकता होगी। इस कदम का उद्देश्य निजी भारतीय संस्थाओं, जिन्हें नॉन-गवर्नमेंट इंडियन एंटिटीज (NGEs) कहा जाता है, को अंतरिक्ष बुनियादी ढांचे तक पहुंचने में सहायता करना है। दिशानिर्देश तकनीकी, सुरक्षा और नियामक आवश्यकताओं के अनुपालन को सुनिश्चित करते हैं।
