Gwalior Collector Orders Magisterial Probe Into Truck Crash Killing 15 Devotees

Gwalior collector Ruchika Chauhan has ordered a magisterial inquiry into a fatal truck crash that killed 15 devotees and injured 27 others. The incident occurred on the intervening night of and 18 near Sheetla Mata Temple. Additional collector CB Prasad will lead the investigation, examining the cause, negligence, and responsibility, and is expected to submit a report within seven days. The inquiry will also recommend measures to prevent similar future tragedies. Union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia visited the injured in the hospital.

ग्वालियर की कलेक्टर रुचिका चौहान ने 15 श्रद्धालुओं की मौत और 27 अन्य के घायल होने वाले घातक ट्रक दुर्घटना की मजिस्ट्रियल जांच का आदेश दिया है। यह घटना 18 की मध्यरात्रि को शीतला माता मंदिर के पास हुई। अपर कलेक्टर सीबी प्रसाद जांच का नेतृत्व करेंगे, जिसमें कारण, लापरवाही और जिम्मेदारी की जांच की जाएगी, और उनसे सात दिनों के भीतर रिपोर्ट सौंपने की उम्मीद है। जांच में भविष्य में ऐसी त्रासदियों को रोकने के उपायों की भी सिफारिश की जाएगी। केंद्रीय मंत्री ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिया ने अस्पताल में घायलों से मुलाकात की।
