Two Arrested for Cheating Couple of ₹15.8 Lakh on Australia Job Promise

Vizhinjam Police have arrested two individuals, Shafeeq and Shafna, for allegedly defrauding a couple of ₹15.8 lakh by promising them jobs in Australia. The accused, associated with a recruitment agency, collected the money through multiple bank transactions. A relative of the complainant was also allegedly defrauded of over ₹5 lakh for a job offer in London. Police are investigating to identify other potential victims and involved parties in this job fraud scheme. The arrested individuals have been remanded in judicial custody.

विझिंजम पुलिस ने ऑस्ट्रेलिया में नौकरी दिलाने का झांसा देकर एक जोड़े से ₹15.8 लाख की ठगी करने के आरोप में दो लोगों, शफीक और शफना को गिरफ्तार किया है। आरोपियों, जो एक रिक्रूटमेंट एजेंसी से जुड़े थे, ने कई बैंक लेनदेन के माध्यम से पैसे एकत्र किए। शिकायतकर्ता के एक रिश्तेदार से कथित तौर पर लंदन में नौकरी के प्रस्ताव के लिए ₹5 लाख से अधिक की ठगी की गई थी। पुलिस इस नौकरी धोखाधड़ी योजना में अन्य संभावित पीड़ितों और शामिल पक्षों की पहचान करने के लिए जांच कर रही है। गिरफ्तार लोगों को न्यायिक हिरासत में भेज दिया गया है।
