Investor Sentiment Drops to 16-Month Low

Investor sentiment has fallen to its lowest point in 16 months, according to a recent AAII survey. More than half of investors surveyed, 53.3%, reported being bearish, while only 28.8% are bullish, marking the lowest bullish reading in a year. The spread between bulls and bears is now at -24.5%, significantly below the historical average. This cautious outlook comes as oil prices remain high and the Federal Reserve increases interest rates.
