दिल्ली के कृषि भवन परिसर में लगभग 100 साल पुरानी एक मस्जिद सेंट्रल विस्टा पुनर्विकास परियोजना के कारण विवाद का केंद्र बन गई है। केंद्र सरकार इसे हटाने की वकालत कर रही है, उनका कहना है कि सरकारी संपत्ति पर स्थायी धार्मिक ढांचा धर्मनिरपेक्ष सिद्धांतों के खिलाफ है। सरकार ने दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट को बताया कि परियोजना के तहत नई इमारतें बनाने के लिए मस्जिद का विध्वंस आवश्यक है। मस्जिद का प्रबंधन करने वाली समिति इसके संरक्षण या नई इमारतों में वैकल्पिक प्रार्थना स्थल की मांग कर रही है।
