A shocking incident of fratricide has occurred in Jharkhand's Ramgarh district, where an elder brother murdered his younger sibling with an axe over a dispute concerning ancestral land. The victim, identified as 50-year-old Kajru Lal Mahto, was allegedly attacked by his elder brother Lakhan Mahto morning. The dispute over the division and ownership of inherited property had been ongoing between the siblings. Following the incident, police arrested the accused elder brother and recovered the weapon used in the crime.

झारखंड के रामगढ़ जिले में हत्या की एक चौंकाने वाली घटना सामने आई है, जहाँ एक बड़े भाई ने पैतृक ज़मीन को लेकर हुए विवाद में कुल्हाड़ी से अपने छोटे भाई की हत्या कर दी। पीड़ित, जिसकी पहचान 50 वर्षीय काजरू लाल महतो के रूप में हुई है, पर कथित तौर पर उसके बड़े भाई लखन महतो ने सुबह हमला किया था। दोनों भाइयों के बीच विरासत में मिली संपत्ति के बँटवारे और मालिकाना हक़ को लेकर विवाद चल रहा था। घटना के बाद पुलिस ने आरोपी बड़े भाई को गिरफ्तार कर लिया और अपराध में इस्तेमाल किए गए हथियार को भी बरामद कर लिया।
