Despite receiving four reminders over three months, these schools have not ensured compliance with safety requirements. Enforcement teams will begin checking school buses from Wednesday, with penalties and legal action possible for non-compliant vehicles. The crackdown aims to ensure all school buses are equipped with essential safety features like CCTV, GPS, and panic buttons, and possess valid documents.

गाजियाबाद का परिवहन विभाग उन 21 स्कूलों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करने जा रहा है जिनकी बसें ज़रूरी सुरक्षा मानकों पर खरी नहीं उतरी हैं। तीन महीने में चार बार याद दिलाने के बावजूद, इन स्कूलों ने सुरक्षा नियमों का पालन नहीं किया है। प्रवर्तन टीमें बुधवार से स्कूल बसों की जांच शुरू करेंगी, और नियमों का पालन न करने वाले वाहनों पर जुर्माना और कानूनी कार्रवाई हो सकती है। इस कार्रवाई का मकसद यह सुनिश्चित करना है कि सभी स्कूल बसों में CCTV, GPS और पैनिक बटन जैसी ज़रूरी सुरक्षा सुविधाएँ हों और उनके पास वैध कागज़ात हों।
