Many families have moved to rooftops or evacuated their homes, facing difficulties with sanitation and access to essential supplies. The rising Gomti river has inundated colonies, affecting approximately 40,000 houses and impacting landmarks like Phoenix Palassio mall and Ekana Stadium.
