Former Minister Blames Congress For Drought, Crop Losses On 12 Lakh Acres

Former minister T Harish Rao has blamed the Congress government for a "Congress-created drought" in Telangana, alleging that crop losses have occurred on nearly 12 lakh acres due to insufficient irrigation and power supply. He demanded the government declare drought-hit areas, provide compensation, and ensure 24-hour power and round-the-clock irrigation operations. Rao accused the government of ignoring scientific warnings about El Nino and failing to take timely preventive measures.

पूर्व मंत्री टी. हरीश राव ने कांग्रेस सरकार पर तेलंगाना में "कांग्रेस-निर्मित सूखे" का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने दावा किया कि अपर्याप्त सिंचाई और बिजली आपूर्ति के कारण लगभग 12 लाख एकड़ में फसल का नुकसान हुआ है। राव ने सरकार से सूखा प्रभावित क्षेत्रों की घोषणा करने, मुआवजा देने और 24 घंटे बिजली व सिंचाई की सुविधा सुनिश्चित करने की मांग की। उन्होंने सरकार पर अल नीनो के बारे में वैज्ञानिक चेतावनियों को नजरअंदाज करने और समय पर निवारक उपाय करने में विफल रहने का आरोप लगाया।
