Minister Orders Action On River Pollution

Karnataka Forest Minister Ramalinga Reddy has ordered stringent action against industries in Yadgir district for discharging untreated industrial effluents into the Bhima River. He directed the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board to immediately inspect the Kadechur-Badiyal industrial area, collect wastewater samples, and test them against environmental standards. The minister also called for the suspension of the official responsible for the lapse and an inquiry into the matter. Strict legal action will be initiated against violating industries, with a compliance report required.

मंत्री ने नदी प्रदूषण पर कार्रवाई का आदेश दिया

कर्नाटक के वन मंत्री रामलिंगा रेड्डी ने यादगीर जिले में उद्योगों के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई का आदेश दिया है जो भीमा नदी में अनुपचारित औद्योगिक अपशिष्ट बहा रहे हैं। उन्होंने कर्नाटक राज्य प्रदूषण नियंत्रण बोर्ड को कडेचुर-बाडियाल औद्योगिक क्षेत्र का तुरंत निरीक्षण करने, अपशिष्ट जल के नमूने एकत्र करने और उन्हें पर्यावरणीय मानकों के अनुसार जांचने का निर्देश दिया। मंत्री ने इस चूक के लिए जिम्मेदार अधिकारी को निलंबित करने और मामले की जांच कराने की भी मांग की। उल्लंघन करने वाले उद्योगों के खिलाफ सख्त कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी, और अनुपालन रिपोर्ट मांगी गई है।
