Congress leader Satej Patil has urged the opposition panel in the Gokul cooperative dairy to attend the upcoming chairman election meeting. He believes this would set an ideal precedent in the cooperative sector by respecting the voters' mandate. Patil stated that the opposition's stand could impact Maharashtra politics. His panel recently won 13 seats against the Mahayuti's 12 in the high-voltage election. A 14-member quorum is required for the chairman's election, and failure to attend could lead to an administrator being appointed.
