Gang Declares Couple Dead For Land Fraud

Police in Vijayawada have arrested five individuals in connection with a sophisticated land fraud scheme. The gang allegedly created fake death certificates for a living couple and fabricated documents to appoint a false heir. This allowed them to illegally take control of an 800-square yard plot in Kanuru. The fraud was uncovered when the actual owner discovered unauthorized transactions on his property. The accused used forged documents, including a fabricated family member certificate, to facilitate the land transfer.
