A 2027 NFL Mock Draft by Luke Easterling for Athlon Sports projects the Dallas Cowboys to select Indiana wide receiver Charlie Becker with the No. 8 pick, passing on quarterback Arch Manning. Easterling's reasoning suggests the Cowboys will prioritize replacing potential departing wide receiver George Pickens over drafting a quarterback, especially with Dak Prescott currently under center. Manning, who still has college eligibility, has received advice to return to Texas for another season.
