शिवसेना (यूबीटी) प्रमुख उद्धव ठाकरे ने 'सत्ता परिवर्तन' की विपक्षी मांग का समर्थन किया है। उन्होंने कहा कि जिस सरकार को नागरिकों के वोट देने और विरोध करने के अधिकार का हनन करने की आदत हो, उसे बदला जाना चाहिए। उन्होंने दिल्ली में प्रदर्शनकारियों के खिलाफ कथित पुलिस कार्रवाई की आलोचना की और भारी पुलिस बल की तैनाती पर सवाल उठाया। ठाकरे ने भाजपा पर भी तंज कसा और कहा कि वे पुतलों से भी डरते हैं। कथित चुनावी अनियमितताओं और मतदाता सूची में बदलाव के खिलाफ विरोध प्रदर्शनों के बीच विपक्ष का 'सत्ता परिवर्तन' का आह्वान तेज हो गया है।
