Residents in Ward 2 are grappling with severe civic issues, including overflowing garbage dumps, damaged roads, and roadside encroachments. Localities like New Azad Nagar, Harpreet Nagar, and others along Bahadur Ke Road are particularly affected, with waste accumulation narrowing usable space and creating unhygienic conditions. Broken roads and unauthorized vendor stalls further compound the daily struggles of residents. Despite repeated complaints raised by the area councillor, Sangeeta Kalsi, no significant action has been taken by the authorities, leading to a worsening situation.

वार्ड 2 के निवासी कूड़े के ढेर, खराब सड़कों और सड़क किनारे अतिक्रमण जैसी गंभीर नागरिक समस्याओं से जूझ रहे हैं। न्यू आजाद नगर, हरप्रीत नगर और बहादुर के रोड के आसपास के इलाके विशेष रूप से प्रभावित हैं, जहाँ कचरे के जमाव से उपयोगी जगह कम हो गई है और अस्वास्थ्यकर स्थिति पैदा हो गई है। टूटी सड़कें और अनधिकृत विक्रेता स्टॉल निवासियों के दैनिक संघर्षों को और बढ़ा देते हैं। क्षेत्र की पार्षद, संगीता कलसी द्वारा बार-बार शिकायतें उठाने के बावजूद, अधिकारियों द्वारा कोई महत्वपूर्ण कार्रवाई नहीं की गई है, जिससे स्थिति और खराब हो गई है।
