Lucknow Vigilance Detects 64kW Unauthorised Load

Lucknow's vigilance wing, in a joint operation, detected an unauthorised electricity load of 64 kilowatts across various premises in Gomti Nagar Extension on Friday. Nineteen cases were registered under Section 135 of the Electricity Act, 2003, for electricity theft. The detected load included 47 kW from domestic premises, 8 kW from a commercial motor garage, and 9 kW from an e-rickshaw charging station. This enforcement drive aims to curb power theft in the area.

लखनऊ के विजिलेंस विंग ने शुक्रवार को गोमती नगर एक्सटेंशन में कई जगहों पर एक संयुक्त अभियान चलाकर 64 किलोवाट के अनधिकृत बिजली लोड का पता लगाया। बिजली चोरी के लिए इलेक्ट्रिसिटी एक्ट, 2003 की धारा 135 के तहत 19 मामले दर्ज किए गए। पकड़े गए लोड में घरेलू जगहों से 47 किलोवाट, एक कमर्शियल मोटर गैराज से 8 किलोवाट और एक ई-रिक्शा चार्जिंग स्टेशन से 9 किलोवाट शामिल था। इस कार्रवाई का मकसद इलाके में बिजली चोरी को रोकना है।
