A three-year-old girl from Gujarat's Ahmedabad narrowly escaped a life-threatening situation when a custard apple seed became lodged in her windpipe. The incident occurred while she was playing, leading to severe coughing, breathing difficulties, and vomiting. After being transferred between multiple hospitals, doctors at Ahmedabad Civil Hospital successfully removed the seed using a procedure called 'therapeutic bronchoscopy'. The child's condition is now stable and she is being discharged.
