Mumbai Crime Branch arrested a 30-year-old IT engineer from Bengaluru for allegedly sending threatening emails and making calls to several individuals, including Bollywood actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Tusshar Kapoor. The accused, Vaibhav Mishra, was traced using the IP address of the device used for the threats. Police are investigating the motive behind the threats and potential extortion demands. Investigators are also exploring the possibility of artificial intelligence being used to generate voice samples, though this has not been confirmed. Mishra has no known connection to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
