Bombay High Court Orders Sambhajinagar Collector To Start Boat Service From Oct 26

The Aurangabad bench of the Bombay High Court has directed the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar collector to operationalize a boat service for schoolchildren from Kale Wasti. The court expressed shock that a boat provided over a year ago remained unused due to a lack of funds for fuel and the motorman's salary. Children were forced to use unsafe rafts during the monsoon to cross Jayakwadi backwaters. The court also ordered the boat service to be made available for general village commute.

बॉम्बे हाई कोर्ट की औरंगाबाद पीठ ने छत्रपति संभाजीनगर के कलेक्टर को काले वस्ती के स्कूली बच्चों के लिए नाव सेवा शुरू करने का निर्देश दिया है। कोर्ट ने हैरानी जताई कि एक साल पहले दी गई नाव ईंधन और मोटरमैन के वेतन के लिए पैसे न होने के कारण इस्तेमाल नहीं की गई थी। बच्चों को मानसून के दौरान जयकवाड़ी बैकवाटर्स पार करने के लिए असुरक्षित राफ्ट का उपयोग करने के लिए मजबूर होना पड़ा। कोर्ट ने गांव वालों के आने-जाने के लिए भी नाव सेवा उपलब्ध कराने का आदेश दिया।
