Kanha Tiger Reserve Cub Death: Samples Sent To Check Canine Distemper Virus Link

Biological samples from a tiger cub that died at Kanha Tiger Reserve's wildlife treatment centre have been sent for laboratory examination to determine if canine distemper virus (CDV) was the cause. The cub, found alone and weak on August 26, died on Tuesday, bringing the reserve's tiger death toll to 57. A postmortem was conducted, and necessary samples were collected for forensic and pathological analysis.

काना टाइगर रिजर्व के वन्यजीव उपचार केंद्र में मृत मिले बाघ के शावक के जैविक नमूनों को प्रयोगशाला जांच के लिए भेजा गया है ताकि यह पता लगाया जा सके कि कैनाइन डिस्टेंपर वायरस (CDV) इसका कारण था या नहीं। 26 अगस्त को अकेला और कमजोर पाया गया शावक मंगलवार को मर गया, जिससे रिजर्व में बाघों की मौत का आंकड़ा 57 हो गया। शव-परीक्षा की गई और फोरेंसिक तथा पैथोलॉजिकल विश्लेषण के लिए आवश्यक नमूने एकत्र किए गए।
