The Delhi government's education department has established a new academic task group to oversee performance in government schools and track progress towards educational targets. This group will operate at headquarters, district, and zonal levels, providing academic support and addressing field feedback. A seven-member monitoring team at headquarters will review targets uploaded by school heads via a management information system. District and zonal teams, including principals and teachers, will assess performance, devise strategies, and implement improvement plans. The initiative aims to strengthen academic monitoring and ensure timely support for schools.
