Jammu Court Summons Officer in Rs 500 Crore

A Jammu court has summoned a crime branch inquiry officer to present records regarding alleged fake silver offerings at the Vaishno Devi shrine. An advocate filed a complaint alleging misappropriation of approximately 20 tonnes of silver, found to be mostly inferior metals. The court has ordered the officer to appear with all relevant documents on July 29, 2026, to facilitate a thorough.

जम्मू की एक अदालत ने वैष्णो देवी मंदिर में कथित नकली चांदी के चढ़ावे के मामले में क्राइम ब्रांच के एक जांच अधिकारी को तलब किया है। एक वकील ने शिकायत दर्ज कराई थी कि करीब 20 टन चांदी का गबन किया गया है, जो ज्यादातर निम्न गुणवत्ता की धातुओं से बनी थी। अदालत ने अधिकारी को 29 जुलाई, 2026 को सभी संबंधित दस्तावेजों के साथ पेश होने का आदेश दिया है ताकि मामले की पूरी जांच हो सके।
