Farmers Stopped at Noida-Delhi Border Amid CJP Protest; Clashes Erupt

Hundreds of farmers and workers were prevented from reaching Delhi to join a Cockroach Janta Party protest at the Noida-Delhi border on Saturday. Police used barricades to stop tractor-trolleys at Chapargarh village and the Yamuna Expressway toll plaza, leading to heated exchanges and skirmishes. The Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) condemned the action, calling it a murder of democracy. Farmers staged a sit-in protest at the toll plaza, vowing to continue until directions are received from Rakesh Tikait.

सैकड़ों किसानों और मजदूरों को शनिवार को नोएडा-दिल्ली बॉर्डर पर कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी के विरोध प्रदर्शन में शामिल होने के लिए दिल्ली पहुंचने से रोका गया। पुलिस ने चपरगढ़ गांव और यमुना एक्सप्रेसवे टोल प्लाजा पर ट्रैक्टर-ट्रॉली को रोकने के लिए बैरिकेड्स का इस्तेमाल किया, जिससे तीखी नोकझोंक और झड़पें हुईं। भारतीय किसान यूनियन (बीकेयू) ने इस कार्रवाई की निंदा करते हुए इसे लोकतंत्र की हत्या बताया। किसानों ने टोल प्लाजा पर धरना दिया और राकेश टिकैत से निर्देश मिलने तक जारी रखने की कसम खाई।
