Asian Paints Q2 Profit Up 7.5% To ₹1,068 Cr On Strong Sales

Asian Paints reported a 7.5 per cent year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to ₹1,067.6 crore for the September quarter. Consolidated net sales grew 16.9 per cent to ₹9,953.9 crore, driven by strong domestic coatings and international market performance. However, rising raw material costs and geopolitical supply constraints impacted operating margins, causing a contraction to 15.6 per cent. The company declared an interim dividend of ₹5.75 per share and is implementing further price increases amid inflationary pressures.
