A 44-year-year-old doctor in Hyderabad was defrauded of ₹14.61 crore by a woman he met on Facebook. The woman, who identified herself as Monica Madhav from Chennai, lured the doctor into investing in a fake trading platform by promising substantial profits. Initially, a small investment showed a profit, and a portion was even withdrawn, building the doctor's trust. Subsequently, he invested his savings and borrowed money, only to find withdrawal options blocked after a large sum was deposited.

हैदराबाद के एक 44 वर्षीय डॉक्टर को फेसबुक पर मिली एक महिला ने ₹14.61 करोड़ की ठगी का शिकार बनाया है। महिला, जिसने खुद को चेन्नई की मोनिका माधव बताया था, ने डॉक्टर को भारी मुनाफे का लालच देकर एक फर्जी ट्रेडिंग प्लेटफॉर्म में निवेश करवाया। शुरुआत में, एक छोटे निवेश पर मुनाफा दिखाया गया और उसका कुछ हिस्सा निकाला भी गया, जिससे डॉक्टर का भरोसा बढ़ गया। बाद में, उसने अपनी बचत का निवेश किया और पैसे उधार लिए, लेकिन बड़ी रकम जमा होने के बाद निकासी के विकल्प बंद पाए।
