A worker from the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) party has been expelled following a viral video allegedly showing him accepting a bribe. This action comes on the same day the state government intensified its anti-corruption drive. The government directed all its offices, collectorates, local bodies, and public sector undertakings to adhere to strict anti-graft measures.
