Uttar Pradesh has significantly bolstered women's safety and support by establishing 124 One Stop Centres across all 75 districts. These centres consolidate essential services like police assistance, medical aid, legal advice, and counselling under one roof, simplifying access for women facing violence or abuse. The initiative, overseen by the Women Welfare Department, has already assisted approximately 3,18,500 cases. This comprehensive approach aims to help survivors recover, access justice, and rebuild their lives with dignity, ensuring support is accessible statewide.
