शुक्रवार को पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री और बीजेपी नेता रवनीत सिंह बिट्टू के काफिले पर हमला हुआ। वे एक पार्टी कार्यक्रम के लिए पठानकोट जा रहे थे। बिट्टू के दफ्तर ने बताया कि उनकी सुरक्षा टीम ने आम आदमी पार्टी से जुड़े तीन लोगों को पकड़ा है। बिट्टू के दफ्तर ने कहा कि पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री और DGP उनकी सुरक्षा के लिए जिम्मेदार होंगे। उन्होंने चेतावनी दी कि ऐसे हमले लोकतंत्र और नेताओं की सुरक्षा के लिए खतरा हैं।
