UK police have re-arrested two men, a 24-year-old British national and a 25-year-old dual British-Iranian national, on suspicion of assisting Iran's intelligence service. The arrests follow a major incident at the US-run RAF Fairford airbase in September, where suspicious vehicles containing accelerant were found. Counter Terrorism Policing stated it is highly likely that Iranian state involvement was behind the plot. The investigation is ongoing, with over 50 people arrested in the past year over Iran-linked plots. No charges have been filed yet.
