Bengaluru police have registered a FIR against a Janata Dal (Secular) worker named Prashanti Subhash for allegedly sharing a social media video. The video contained derogatory remarks and false information targeting the Karnataka government and Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar. A complainant stated the post accused the state government of "the worst kind of politics" and a corrupt mindset. The FIR cites sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita related to provocation and intentional insult. The post has since been deleted.
