India Sends Bailey Bridge Components To Nepal

India has dispatched the first consignment of components for a 70-metre Bailey bridge to Nepal, aiming to restore connectivity in the flood-affected Betrawati area. The consignment was handed over to Nepal's Road Division in Hetauda on Saturday. This assistance is part of India's ongoing humanitarian support following devastating flash floods that struck Nepal on August 26, killing nearly 1,400 people and leaving thousands missing.

भारत ने नेपाल को बाढ़ से प्रभावित बेतरावती इलाके में कनेक्टिविटी बहाल करने के लिए 70 मीटर के बेली ब्रिज के पुर्जों की पहली खेप भेजी है। यह खेप शनिवार को हेटौडा में नेपाल के रोड डिवीजन को सौंपी गई। यह मदद 26 अगस्त को नेपाल में आई विनाशकारी बाढ़ के बाद भारत के मानवीय समर्थन का हिस्सा है, जिसमें लगभग 1,400 लोग मारे गए थे और हजारों लापता हो गए थे।
