Russia has warned NATO that any attempt to isolate the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad could lead to a direct military confrontation. The Russian embassy in Belgium stated that Moscow possesses sufficient weaponry to defend the territory and is prepared to use its entire arsenal if Kaliningrad is cut off from mainland Russia.
