Sitharaman Accuses Congress of Using Banks as 'Personal Entities'

वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने कांग्रेस पार्टी और पिछली UPA सरकार पर बैंकों को निजी संपत्ति की तरह इस्तेमाल करने का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने कहा कि कर्मचारियों पर अनुचित तरीके से लोन देने का दबाव डाला गया। उन्होंने 1976 में SBI चेयरमैन को हटाने और IDBI बैंक को कांग्रेस नेताओं से जुड़े समूहों को लोन देने के लिए मजबूर करने का उदाहरण दिया, जिससे NPA बढ़ गए। सीतारमण ने कहा कि NDA सरकार ने पेशेवर रवैये और पुन:पूंजीकरण से IDBI बैंक को बचाया, और इसके रणनीतिक पुनर्गठन में सभी उचित प्रक्रियाओं का पालन किया गया।
