25% IIT Bombay Engineering Students Want Branch Change For Better Placements: Survey

A survey conducted by IIT Bombay among graduating engineering students revealed that 25% are dissatisfied with their current branches and wish to switch for better placement opportunities. Notably, many students aspire to change their branch to Computer Science Engineering. The 'Insight Senior Survey 2026' also found that 24% of students admitted to cheating once or twice due to pressure. Additionally, 32% of students remain uncertain about their career path in five years, indicating significant career indecision among the student body.

आईआईटी बॉम्बे ने पास हो रहे इंजीनियरिंग छात्रों के बीच एक सर्वे किया। इसमें पता चला कि 25% छात्र अपनी मौजूदा ब्रांच से खुश नहीं हैं और बेहतर प्लेसमेंट के मौके के लिए बदलना चाहते हैं। खास बात यह है कि कई छात्र कंप्यूटर साइंस इंजीनियरिंग में ब्रांच बदलना चाहते हैं। 'इनसाइट सीनियर सर्वे 2026' में यह भी पाया गया कि 24% छात्रों ने दबाव के कारण एक या दो बार नकल करने की बात कबूल की। इसके अलावा, 32% छात्र 5 साल बाद अपने करियर के रास्ते को लेकर अनिश्चित हैं, जो छात्रों के बीच करियर को लेकर काफी दुविधा दिखाता है।
