Kerala to Enhance Cancer Care Through Global Collaborations

Kerala is poised to significantly improve its cancer care services by forging international collaborations in research, training, and patient-centred care. Following participation at the World Cancer Congress in Hong Kong, the state delegation explored partnerships for multicentre research, clinical trials, and access to affordable medicines. Discussions were held with global oncology leaders from organizations like the Union for International Cancer Control and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. These collaborations aim to bring the best global cancer care advancements to patients across Kerala, enhancing treatment and survivorship.

केरल शोध, प्रशिक्षण और रोगी-केंद्रित देखभाल में अंतरराष्ट्रीय सहयोग स्थापित करके अपनी कैंसर देखभाल सेवाओं में काफी सुधार करने के लिए तैयार है। हांगकांग में विश्व कैंसर कांग्रेस में भाग लेने के बाद, राज्य के प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने बहु-केंद्रित शोध, नैदानिक परीक्षणों और सस्ती दवाओं तक पहुंच के लिए साझेदारी की खोज की। यूनियन फॉर इंटरनेशनल कैंसर कंट्रोल और अमेरिकन सोसाइटी ऑफ क्लिनिकल ऑन्कोलॉजी जैसे संगठनों के वैश्विक ऑन्कोलॉजी नेताओं के साथ चर्चा की गई। इन सहयोगों का उद्देश्य केरल भर के रोगियों के लिए सर्वोत्तम वैश्विक कैंसर देखभाल प्रगति लाना है, जिससे उपचार और जीवित रहने की दर में वृद्धि हो।
