The notice was issued by the Foreigners Regional Registration Officer in Mumbai, citing contravention of the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025. Khan's lawyer plans to challenge the order in the Bombay High Court. The notice warns of prosecution if he fails to comply with the directive to depart.

अमेरिकी नागरिक और बॉलीवुड अभिनेता इमरान खान को एक ऐसे कानून के तहत 28 अक्टूबर तक भारत छोड़ने का आदेश दिया गया है जो सरकार को किसी भी विदेशी को प्रस्थान करने का निर्देश देने की अनुमति देता है। यह नोटिस मुंबई में विदेशियों के क्षेत्रीय पंजीकरण अधिकारी द्वारा इमिग्रेशन एंड फॉरेनर्स एक्ट, 2025 के उल्लंघन का हवाला देते हुए जारी किया गया था। खान के वकील बॉम्बे हाई कोर्ट में इस आदेश को चुनौती देने की योजना बना रहे हैं। नोटिस में प्रस्थान करने के निर्देश का पालन न करने पर अभियोजन की चेतावनी दी गई है।
