The Andhra Pradesh Primary Teachers Association has requested the state government to exempt teachers and employees suffering from chronic illnesses, such as rheumatoid arthritis, from election duties. The association submitted representations to the State Election Commissioner and other officials, citing humanitarian grounds. They urged authorities to consider the health of affected employees and grant exemptions to prevent serious medical complications.
