Jharkhand Youth Arrested For Offensive Post Targeting PM Modi

Police in West Bengal arrested a youth from Jharkhand on Tuesday evening for allegedly sharing an objectionable social media post targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The accused, identified as Mostafijur Rahaman, was apprehended in Chandpurbazar following a complaint by a local BJP supporter. The post reportedly hurt Hindu religious sentiments and showed disrespect towards Lord Shiva. Police seized the mobile phone used for the post and obtained three days of police remand from the Jangipur ACJM court for further investigation.

पश्चिम बंगाल पुलिस ने मंगलवार शाम झारखंड के एक युवक को प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी को निशाना बनाने वाली कथित आपत्तिजनक सोशल मीडिया पोस्ट साझा करने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया। आरोपी, जिसकी पहचान मुस्तफिजुर रहमान के रूप में हुई है, को स्थानीय भाजपा समर्थक द्वारा शिकायत के बाद चांदपुरबाजार से पकड़ा गया। कथित तौर पर इस पोस्ट ने हिंदू धार्मिक भावनाओं को आहत किया और भगवान शिव का अनादर किया। पुलिस ने पोस्ट के लिए इस्तेमाल किया गया मोबाइल फोन जब्त कर लिया और आगे की जांच के लिए जंगीपुर एसीजेएम अदालत से तीन दिन की पुलिस रिमांड हासिल की।
