IRCTC Money Laundering Case: Delhi HC Issues Notice To ED On Lalu Yadav's Plea

The Delhi High Court has issued a notice to the ED seeking its response on a plea filed by RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav. Yadav challenged the trial court's decision to frame charges against him in the IRCTC money laundering case. The court has also granted him permission to defer proceedings in the trial court until the next hearing. The ED's case stems from a CBI FIR alleging a criminal conspiracy involving Yadav, hotel owners, and IRCTC officials to gain pecuniary advantages between 2004 and 2014.

दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट ने RJD प्रमुख लालू प्रसाद यादव की याचिका पर ED को जवाब मांगा है। यादव ने IRCTC मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग मामले में उनके खिलाफ आरोप तय करने के निचली अदालत के फैसले को चुनौती दी है। अदालत ने अगली सुनवाई तक निचली अदालत में कार्यवाही स्थगित करने की भी अनुमति दे दी है। ED का मामला CBI FIR से जुड़ा है, जिसमें 2004 और 2014 के बीच यादव, होटल मालिकों और IRCTC अधिकारियों के बीच आपराधिक साजिश का आरोप है ताकि अनुचित लाभ उठाया जा सके।
