Electric two-wheeler manufacturer Simple Energy has successfully raised $180 million (₹1,750 Cr) in its Series C funding round, led by Dr. Arokiaswamy Velumani Family Office. The Bengaluru-based startup plans to use the capital to boost marketing, supply chain, R&D, and hiring for its next growth phase. This funding follows a ₹250 Cr Series B round and brings Simple Energy's total equity raise to $264 million. The company aims to expand its manufacturing capabilities, distribution network, and product line, reinforcing its position in the Indian electric two-wheeler market.

इलेक्ट्रिक दोपहिया वाहन निर्माता सिंपल एनर्जी ने डॉ. आरोग्यास्वामी वेलुमणि फैमिली ऑफिस के नेतृत्व में अपनी सीरीज सी फंडिंग राउंड में सफलतापूर्वक 180 मिलियन डॉलर (₹1,750 करोड़) जुटाए हैं। बेंगलुरु स्थित स्टार्टअप इस पूंजी का उपयोग अपने अगले विकास चरण के लिए मार्केटिंग, सप्लाई चेन, आर एंड डी और हायरिंग को बढ़ावा देने की योजना बना रहा है। यह फंडिंग ₹250 करोड़ के सीरीज बी राउंड के बाद आई है और सिंपल एनर्जी की कुल इक्विटी जुटाने की राशि 264 मिलियन डॉलर हो गई है। कंपनी का लक्ष्य भारतीय इलेक्ट्रिक दोपहिया बाजार में अपनी स्थिति को मजबूत करते हुए अपनी विनिर्माण क्षमताओं, वितरण नेटवर्क और उत्पाद लाइन का विस्तार करना है।
