October 20 marks 17 years since Apple's Magic Mouse was first unveiled in 2009 as the world's first multi-touch mouse. Unlike its predecessor, it featured wireless connectivity, a solid-state laser sensor, and supported secondary clicks. While competitors have struggled to replicate its precision and gesture-based interface, Apple has only made minor generational updates. The 2015 Magic Mouse 2 introduced built-in lithium-ion batteries and a Lightning port for charging, though its underside port placement remains a point of contention. Its multi-touch functionality allows for advanced gestures, making it a lasting innovation.

20 अक्टूबर को Apple की मैजिक माउस को दुनिया की पहली मल्टी-टच माउस के तौर पर 2009 में पेश किए जाने के 17 साल पूरे हो गए। अपने पिछले मॉडल के विपरीत, इसमें वायरलेस कनेक्टिविटी, सॉलिड-स्टेट लेजर सेंसर था और यह सेकेंडरी क्लिक को सपोर्ट करती थी। जहाँ कंपटीटर्स इसकी प्रिसिजन और जेस्चर-आधारित इंटरफ़ेस को कॉपी करने में संघर्ष करते रहे, वहीं Apple ने इसमें मामूली जेनरेशनल अपडेट ही किए हैं। 2015 की मैजिक माउस 2 में इन-बिल्ट लिथियम-आयन बैटरी और चार्जिंग के लिए लाइटनिंग पोर्ट पेश किया गया, हालाँकि इसके नीचे की तरफ पोर्ट की जगह आज भी बहस का मुद्दा बनी हुई है।
