BJP Protests Milk Price, Bus Fare Hikes in Kalaburagi

The BJP's Kalaburagi district unit is protesting against recent increases in milk prices and KSRTC bus fares. Former MLA Dattatreya Patil Revoor accused the Congress government of burdening the public with these hikes to fund its guarantee schemes. He stated that the price increases disproportionately affect daily commuters and low-income families, especially during the festive season. The BJP leaders demanded the immediate withdrawal of these hikes and threatened further statewide protests if the government does not reconsider its decisions.

बीजेपी की कालाबुर्गी जिला इकाई दूध की कीमतों और KSRTC बस किराए में हालिया वृद्धि के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन कर रही है। पूर्व विधायक दतात्रेय पाटिल रेवूर ने कांग्रेस सरकार पर आरोप लगाया कि वह अपनी गारंटी योजनाओं को फंड करने के लिए इन बढ़ोतरी से जनता पर बोझ डाल रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि कीमतों में वृद्धि से रोजमर्रा के यात्रियों और कम आय वाले परिवारों पर, खासकर त्योहारी सीजन के दौरान, असंगत रूप से असर पड़ रहा है। बीजेपी नेताओं ने इन बढ़ोतरी को तुरंत वापस लेने की मांग की और चेतावनी दी कि यदि सरकार अपने फैसलों पर पुनर्विचार नहीं करती है तो राज्यव्यापी आंदोलन किया जाएगा।
