हरियाणा के RTI कार्यकर्ताओं ने राज्य सूचना आयोग में सुधारों और RTI अधिनियम के बेहतर कार्यान्वयन की मांग करते हुए राज्यपाल अशीम कुमार घोष को 17 सूत्रीय ज्ञापन सौंपा है। उन्होंने सुनवाई में देरी, अपीलों के निपटान और सरकारी दस्तावेजों को deny करने का आरोप लगाया है, कुछ सूचना आयुक्तों पर पहुँच बाधित करने का आरोप है। कार्यकर्ताओं का दावा है कि डिजिटल व्यक्तिगत डेटा संरक्षण अधिनियम, 2023 ने सूचना पहुँच के अधिकारों को कमजोर कर दिया है। ज्ञापन में पारदर्शिता और दक्षता में सुधार के लिए SMS सूचनाएं, ऑनलाइन आवेदन सुविधाएँ और टोल-फ्री हेल्पलाइन की भी मांग की गई है।
