Farmers purchasing agricultural land within Ahmedabad's western city limits are now required to declare all agricultural plots they own across Gujarat. A recent circular mandates a sworn affidavit at e-Dhara centres, detailing total landholdings statewide. This measure aims to ensure compliance with the Gujarat Agricultural Lands Ceiling Act, 1976. Buyers exceeding prescribed land limits may face legal action, and failure to submit the affidavit will prevent their names from being entered into official revenue records, effectively halting the mutation process.

अहमदाबाद की पश्चिमी शहर सीमा के अंदर खेती की ज़मीन खरीदने वाले किसानों को अब गुजरात में अपने सभी खेती के प्लॉट घोषित करने होंगे। एक नए सर्कुलर में ई-धारा केंद्रों पर एक शपथ पत्र अनिवार्य किया गया है, जिसमें पूरे राज्य में कुल ज़मीन की जानकारी देनी होगी। इस कदम का मकसद गुजरात एग्रीकल्चरल लैंड्स सीलिंग एक्ट, 1976 का पालन सुनिश्चित करना है। तय सीमा से ज़्यादा ज़मीन खरीदने वालों पर कानूनी कार्रवाई हो सकती है, और शपथ पत्र जमा न करने पर उनके नाम सरकारी राजस्व रिकॉर्ड में दर्ज नहीं हो पाएंगे, जिससे म्यूटेशन की प्रक्रिया रुक जाएगी।
