India and New Zealand's free trade agreement is set to be implemented by late October, with official dates to be announced soon. Commerce Secretary Rajesh Agrawal stated the pact could become operational in the latter half of October 2026. The agreement will grant Indian exports duty-free access to New Zealand, impacting goods like ceramics and automobiles. Two-way trade between the nations reached nearly NZ$3.

भारत और न्यूज़ीलैंड के बीच फ्री ट्रेड एग्रीमेंट (FTA) इसी साल अक्टूबर के अंत तक लागू हो सकता है। कॉमर्स सेक्रेटरी राजेश अग्रवाल ने बताया कि यह समझौता अक्टूबर 2026 के दूसरे हाफ में शुरू हो सकता है। इससे भारतीय सामान, जैसे सेरेमिक्स और ऑटोमोबाइल, को न्यूज़ीलैंड में बिना ड्यूटी के एंट्री मिलेगी। दोनों देशों के बीच व्यापार करीब NZ$3 अरब तक पहुँच गया है।
