Visakhapatnam police have arrested Killo Naresh Kumar, a contractual driver for Marine Corporation of India, for allegedly passing sensitive information about Indian Navy ships and submarines. He reportedly contacted an unidentified individual via Instagram and shared data through WhatsApp for financial gain, receiving Rs 8,000 in two installments. Kumar allegedly used acquaintances' phones to communicate after losing his own. A case has been registered under the Official Secrets Act, with further investigation underway to determine if others are involved.

विशाखापत्तनम पुलिस ने मरीन कॉर्पोरेशन ऑफ इंडिया के अनुबंध ड्राइवर किल्लो नरेश कुमार को भारतीय नौसेना के जहाजों और पनडुब्बियों के बारे में संवेदनशील जानकारी कथित तौर पर लीक करने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया है। उसने कथित तौर पर इंस्टाग्राम पर एक अज्ञात व्यक्ति से संपर्क किया और वित्तीय लाभ के लिए व्हाट्सएप के माध्यम से डेटा साझा किया, जिसके लिए उसे दो किस्तों में 8,000 रुपये मिले। कुमार ने कथित तौर पर अपना फोन खोने के बाद संवाद करने के लिए परिचितों के फोन का इस्तेमाल किया। आधिकारिक गोपनीयता अधिनियम के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया है, और आगे की जांच यह निर्धारित करने के लिए चल रही है कि क्या अन्य लोग भी इसमें शामिल हैं।
