Actor Ajay Devgn believes making a Hindi film is currently the most difficult task for filmmakers. Speaking at FICCI Frames 2026, he explained that unlike regional cinema with defined audiences, Hindi films must cater to diverse tastes across India, making it hard to appeal to everyone. Devgn noted that film success now depends entirely on quality, as poor films crash quickly, unlike in the past. He also discussed sequels, stating that characters, not just the concept, drive audience investment in franchises like Drishyam.

एक्टर अजय देवगन का मानना है कि आज के समय में फिल्ममेकर्स के लिए हिंदी फिल्म बनाना सबसे मुश्किल काम है। FICCI Frames 2026 में बोलते हुए उन्होंने समझाया कि रीजनल सिनेमा के विपरीत, जिसके दर्शक तय होते हैं, हिंदी फिल्मों को पूरे भारत के अलग-अलग टेस्ट को पूरा करना पड़ता है, जिससे सबको खुश करना मुश्किल हो जाता है। देवगन ने कहा कि फिल्म की सफलता अब पूरी तरह क्वालिटी पर निर्भर करती है, क्योंकि खराब फिल्में जल्दी क्रैश हो जाती हैं, जैसा पहले नहीं होता था। उन्होंने सीक्वल पर भी बात की, यह बताते हुए कि Drishyam जैसी फ्रेंचाइजी में दर्शकों का इन्वेस्टमेंट सिर्फ कॉन्सेप्ट पर नहीं, बल्कि किरदारों पर भी निर्भर करता है।
