Akhilesh Yadav Alleges ECI Bias, Claims Multiple Voter Entries

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has accused the Election Commission of India (ECI) of acting on behalf of the BJP. He claims that numerous individuals have multiple entries in voter lists, citing an example in Azamgarh where one person is listed 10 times. Yadav questioned the necessity of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise, suggesting the ECI is unable to rectify such discrepancies despite significant expenditure. He also pointed to instances of duplicate names in Gorakhpur and other constituencies, alleging that the BJP benefits from these alleged irregularities.

समाजवादी पार्टी के मुखिया अखिलेश यादव ने चुनाव आयोग (ECI) पर बीजेपी के लिए काम करने का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने दावा किया कि कई लोगों के नाम मतदाता सूची में एक से ज़्यादा बार दर्ज हैं। उन्होंने आजमगढ़ का उदाहरण देते हुए कहा कि एक व्यक्ति का नाम 10 बार लिखा हुआ है। यादव ने स्पेशल इंटेंसिव रिवीजन (SIR) की ज़रूरत पर सवाल उठाया और कहा कि इतना खर्च करने के बावजूद चुनाव आयोग ऐसी गड़बड़ियों को ठीक नहीं कर पा रहा है। उन्होंने गोरखपुर और अन्य सीटों पर भी डुप्लीकेट नामों का ज़िक्र किया और आरोप लगाया कि इन कथित अनियमितताओं से बीजेपी को फायदा होता है।
