Delhi Police has requested a three-day extension for the judicial custody of Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka. The duo was initially remanded to five days of custody on October 14 for allegedly entering the denotified Jantar Mantar protest site and violating peace bonds. Their custody was previously extended by two days on October 19. The Delhi High Court declined to intervene, advising them to await the special executive magistrate's decision. The continued detention has drawn criticism from several political leaders.
