DoPT Data on De-reservation Proposals Unavailable

The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has stated that data on de-reservation proposals is not readily available. They explained that information is scattered across various departments and ministries. This comes amidst a tussle with the Scheduled Castes panel, which had previously criticized the Centre's incomplete proposals. These proposals aimed to fill reserved posts with general category candidates, raising concerns about representation.

कार्मिक और प्रशिक्षण विभाग (DoPT) ने कहा है कि डी-रिजर्वेशन प्रस्तावों का डेटा आसानी से उपलब्ध नहीं है। उन्होंने बताया कि यह जानकारी अलग-अलग विभागों और मंत्रालयों में बिखरी हुई है। यह अनुसूचित जाति पैनल के साथ चल रहे विवाद के बीच आया है, जिसने पहले केंद्र के अधूरे प्रस्तावों की आलोचना की थी। इन प्रस्तावों का उद्देश्य आरक्षित पदों को सामान्य श्रेणी के उम्मीदवारों से भरना था, जिससे प्रतिनिधित्व पर चिंताएं बढ़ गई थीं।
